Ingredients

Our Bratwurst is a type of German sausage made from beef. The name is derived from the Old High German Brätwurst, from brät-, finely chopped meat, and Wurst, sausage, although in modern German it is often associated with the verb braten, to pan fry or roast. A delicious combination of spices including nutmeg, coriander, paprika and black pepper, give this German sausage unique flavours.

Gritz is our signature dish. We marinade boiled potatoes in butter and sauteed onions for 24 hours. After that we flatten them on a griddle to give them a crisp and crunchy outside. Allowing for the onion to caramalize making them bursting with flavour. A little sprinkle of fresh herbs and you've got an irresistible potato side that suits just about any meal.

Green Peas. Well the their green and their peas. They come from a pod. Therefor they are a seed. Perfect accompaniment to potatoes. Their even good when 'mushy'

We cook these onions slowly until they are well caramelized. This versatile food can be used in many applications giving an umami balance to a meal when required

Jus is a French culinary term meaning "juice". It refers to a light broth or gravy, made from the fluids secreted by the meat as it is cooked. Cooking jus is a natural way to enhance the flavour of our beef. Reduced down with red wine creating a thick sauce that coats your mouth with magical beefy flavours

Our Bangers and buttered potatoes are an Irish classic with a Gritz twist. Making our own sausages fresh every day, we top them with a homemade red wine sauce, caramelized onions, and some fresh green peas. This dish is popular for a reason
